CBSCole’s lingering cough is becoming a serious worry for Victoria. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say she finally convinced him to see a specialist after his condition had not improved.
Last week, it was revealed that Cole has Legionnaires’ disease, a severe form of pneumonia. Victoria and Claire told Nate that Cole’s condition wasn’t improving. If anything, his temperature remains high.
But Nate assures Victoria that it takes time for the meds to take effect and that Cole will be okay soon. But Victoria can’t help but worry about her man.
Will Victoria Lose Cole?
In true soap fashion, Cole’s diagnosis could be deadly and he might not have long to live. Naturally, this would leave Victoria broken and devastated.
Just as Victoria is finally able to love again, Cole might meet his demise. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers for next week tease Cole saying his final goodbye to Victoria and Claire. Is it time for him to leave the show again, for good this time?
The idea of Cole being written off the show isn’t far-fetched. After all, J. Eddie Peck, who portrays the character, initially returned to “The Young and the Restless” on a temporary basis, per Soap Opera Digest.
Victoria’s History with Men on ‘Y&R’
CBSIf Cole were to succumb to his illness, he would become the latest addition in the long line of men Victoria has lost—whether by fate or by her own choices on “The Young and the Restless.”
Longtime fans will recall that Victoria’s first marriage was to Ryan McNeil, which ended in heartbreak and divorce. She later tied the knot with Cole Howard, but that relationship, too, eventually crumbled, per Soaps.com.
Another infamous marriage of Victoria was with J.T. Hellstrom, which also didn’t last. And so is her union with Billy Abbott.
She went on to marry Ashland Locke—whose untimely death was anything but accidental, with Victor Newman pulling the strings behind the scenes. Most recently, her steamy fling with Nate Hastings fizzled out just as quickly as it ignited.
